Funny how that changed in a week, didn't it?

He did himself proud for jumping into a big series. Friday, we didn't score any goals, and their goalie actually stole the game. On Saturday, they got three power-play goals.

He has the ability to be a very good offensive defenseman. He can carry the puck. He's on one of our power plays. He's the quarterback of that power play. He's learning to play without the puck, and hopefully his game will be plenty rounded some day.

He has the head for that, the skill for that.

He helped our young people forget their mistakes and win some games. It just seems in our game the goaltender is an unknown factor. It's the X factor, and if you can get a young man where the puck seems as big as a beach ball, then you're going to have a chance to be successful. It's hockey.
