He threw the ball well. I thought for the most part he did a good job.

He wants to do well, didn't want to cry wolf. We've all been there. The best thing is to let people know. If he tells you, the trainer can work on him and limit the damage.
He was brought here to drive in runs and he's done that all year for us -- probably none bigger than tonight.
He was disappointed. If he continues to pitch the way he's pitching now and stays healthy, he's going to have a lot of chances to throw shutouts. I think this late in the season, better safe than sorry is the way to go.
He was down in the zone with almost all his pitches. That was a sharp departure from last season.
He was only supposed to go two innings, but the way he threw, we stretched him out to three. He had real good command of his fastball and a real good breaking ball.
He was rushing, he was missing his spots. He threw a couple of good pitches, then he'd get away from it. It's still early in the season.
He was so-so. He struggled with his command and didn't throw a lot of strikes. He was behind a lot of hitters.
He was terribly excited facing the Yankees; he was rushing and flying open. That drops his arm and flattens his sinker, a pitch he needs.
He wasn't getting many at-bats, and he didn't have any prospects of getting more at-bats. We like him a lot and we'd like to keep him in the organization.
He won't be at that level. But he'll be close to it.
He'll be back when he can.
He'll be ready by Opening Day. He's a baseball player. there's no reason to think he won't be. He has a full day, every day. But he's a hard worker.
He'll come off the bench for now. We'll try to get him as many at-bats as we can.
He'll get some but it's not going to be an everyday thing. I don't necessarily think that Jeremy is a leadoff hitter or we want him leading off.
