Any allegations against this show we take quite seriously. The credibility of the competition is extremely important to us. |
Baseball is here to stay on Fox. We have it for the next three or four years. We've gone through trial and error in trying to figure out how to launch shows around baseball . . . We've decided to give it a whirl this year where we will launch virtually all our shows before any of our competitors launch theirs. |
Both have been picked up, both will be ready for work, and we'll work it out, |
Clearly, Denis and Peter want to make sure that the situations and day-to-day lives and challenges of the firemen (on the show) aren't sugarcoated and aren't whitewashed, and that's what attracted them to FX, |
Creatively the show is incredibly strong. |
Every January we recognize that two and a half hours of fresh originals are coming in. That gives us an opportunity to see what's worked in the fall, what shows are going to continue through January. |
Fox is proud to have been the home of this groundbreaking comedy. From its innovative production values to its exceptional writers and cast, this series has helped shape the modern sitcom. We'll miss this hilariously loud and manic--yet somehow relatable and admirable--family. |
Fox should be in the business of going after noisy franchise events, ... It is a little uncomfortable to launch serialized shows. If you don't get people early, it's very difficult for those shows to grow, and they're not great in reruns. But you've got to get fresh audiences coming to try your network, and you've got to cater to their needs. |

Going in, this was something everyone knew wasn't going to be an easy thing to pull off, |
I guess they didn't want to hear our answer. |
I know you get second-guessed in this business, but I'd rather be second-guessed for the right reasons. |
I think that show has really captured an audience's imagination. Viewers love the thrill ride of each and every episode. And when, and if, the prison break does happen, I feel that there's a strong enough investment in the two lead characters that the audience is going to go along for the ride. |
I very much enjoy the creative banter with Steven, |
I wish our competitors well, to a certain degree, on those shows. |
