I always feel confident running the two-minute drill. It's a time for the offense to shine. The defense sits back and relaxes and they're tired. I just progress through my reads and take what the defense gives me. Last week I didn't force it. In the two-minute, everybody thinks you have to throw it deep, but you really have to take what they give you and dump it down and get your yards and work the ball down the field. |
The hardest part is just not being out there. Missing those three games was tough, especially Toledo. That's one game I had marked on my calendar. |
Today was great, but let's not forget ? we're a running team. This was an unusual situation. We were going to take what they were giving us. |
We knew (Tech) would try to stack the line of scrimmage and take away the run. They were putting eight or nine guys in the box on every play. They were basically giving us the pass. |

We've got guys like Cas Prime and Justin Anderson who can run, too. |
