It wasn't a victory, which is what we're after every outing. But we had two guys tie for second and we're making strides in the right direction heading into our tournament.

We only get to do this once a year. We want to enjoy the weekend and take advantage of home course knowledge.

We have a little momentum going and want to build on that. You always want to win at home.

The guys are picking it up a little bit and at this time of year that's exactly what you're looking for.

We hit a lot of quality shots, but we struggled on a hole you can't struggle on. It's a very demanding hole, and if you hit into the water you're usually not going to make better than a bogey. We lost some shots on that hole, which we just shouldn't do.

It's been an unusual year. We've had some injuries, so our lineup has changed every tournament this spring. We still haven't played our best five guys yet.

It was eerie to have groups playing behind us.

This is the first tournament where the guys I think should be playing are playing. It will be interesting to see how good we can be when we're hitting on all cylinders.

It's hard to believe we keep moving up in the polls and we've just been playing, in our minds, mediocre.

We're ready to win a conference championship. We've been too dominant for too many years and too close the last few years, so we're due to win one.

He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

He didn't close the way he would have liked, but it was a strong performance. He's disappointed, but all these guys are pretty resilient. They get over it pretty quick.

The course played more difficult today than the last two rounds. We were holding pretty steady at one or two-under most of the day, and then the last hour the wind got stronger and stronger.

You need five players contributing during the course of the tournament, which we did, but we had a couple guys struggle today. I'm disappointed because you like to win when you have the opportunity, but tying Arizona down at Tucson isn't so bad.

They look pretty good and they're getting better every day. But practice is a lot different than the pressure of a tournament.
