As of now, I cannot say there will be a point when we say 'No more helicopters'. In some operations, we say 'No more field hospitals, no more search and rescue teams'. We are not anywhere close to that yet.

The support of the international community is vital and it is essential that donor countries contribute necessary funds as soon as possible.

This disaster may have the number of people who died after the disaster bigger than those killed by the earthquake.

We are still of the view that the international community lacks full comprehension of the catastrophe that is looming large.

We have funds sufficient for the next couple of weeks but in order to continue this operation, we need funds immediately as all reserves are being used and if funds are not generated, we would be compelled to scale-down our activities.

What we need from donors is that the time between pledge and disbursement should be one hour.
