There are a few mixed feelings out there. But at the end of the day everybody is playing the same course.

I think 4 has been the biggest talking point [in the locker room].

The ball is running 30 yards down the hill. They are probably going to go and throw a ton of water on the fairways to make it not run. But I think it would be nice to see the course dry for a change.

It's very much a driving course now. You have to drive it straight. In the past, you could drive it anywhere and get on the greens. Now every part of your game is getting tested.

It used to be a fun week. Now, it's a grinding week.

I think the course is in as good of shape as I've seen it in the last five years. You know the fairways are running a little bit and some holes are actually playing shorter than it's played in the last five years, purely because you get some run in the fairways.

I'm glad for Gary. He's such a great competitor, and he probably still believes he can win out here.

He's such an inspiration to all of us. Very positive, great character to be around and learn from him.

I think 11 is probably the hardest hole out there. You stand on the tee, and there's trees right, trees left and about 10 yards gap in between, and that's really all you see.

I think the course setup was perfect today. Tomorrow it might blow a gale, and we'll all be moaning at things. But I don't think anybody will be unhappy with the way the course played today.

As long as you hit it straight (at Augusta National) it doesn't matter how long you hit it. You still have to hit it straight and hit the shots. I think I'm hitting my irons a little bit better at the moment, which is a big plus.

Yeah, I'd love to have a great week next week. I'm feeling good about my game. We'll just have to see.

Two under is not a bad start. That was pretty much as good as I could have shot. I didn't drive it well. I was making a lot of five-footers for par, which is not good.

We obviously knew it was Tiger doing something.
