Because of the low-budget nature of this production, we couldn't all share an office, so the PA would bring drives from Mark over to my system across town. As I'd finish a cut, I'd e-mail my cut list to Mark, and he'd assemble that from the media that he had on his system. Mark would then put my cuts on a DVD and ship it to the director and producer on location. |
I'm not sure how Terry did it working in film before. But certainly with the Avid we could do several versions of a scene, which was important because each of us [editors] sometimes did different versions of the same scene, and Terry would use those to home in on what it was that he was looking for. |
