I felt like we had an outside shot at Grove City or Central Crossing, but it turned out that we lost some people and that hurt us. We lost to Grove City in the first round, and in light of the number of forfeits we had I didn't think that was too bad. Against Central Crossing we just never got anything going.

It was a very strong sectional and some of the weight classes were the toughest in the area.

We have four kids going to the district, so I believe we have four kids with a chance.

This is the time of year you'd like to be gearing up for the postseason, and we're not really wrestling very well right now. We went up to Toledo Waite (Jan. 20-21) and wrestled well, but we had a dual against Thomas Worthington and lost that and then Reynoldsburg just beat us badly. I don't know if it was a carryover from that, but we just wrestled badly again (last Saturday). Hopefully we can do better (against North).

When we get to the district, our kids tend to crank it up a notch and get the job done. Our goal is to win at least two matches at state and place.

I'm very happy with how we wrestled. There are a lot of schools year in and year out that don't get somebody out. It wasn't just getting out, but the way they did it.

Hill's style of wrestling presents a lot of problems for Michael. The techniques that Michael uses, Hill just happens to be very good at defending. So he has a tough time wrestling him.

We felt he had a legitimate shot of getting on the awards stand, but there was nothing we could do with his condition.

With two of the top four teams in the district in our division, I don't mind leaving. Even though Darby has a very strong program, I think we'll be competitive.
