He's a good player. It's as simple as that. He's a terrific scrambler and he brings something else game as a great lefthander.

I'm always worried about crashing out in the early rounds. I go to so many tournaments as titleholder, and always to back it up, it's never easy.

I'm extremely happy. To win back-to-back like this is unbelievable.

He did a great job this week and came so very close, but he was a little bit unlucky in the end.

This is very nice, to have such a close match and come through it and show once again that I really belong to the No. 1 position and deserve all these trophies I win.

I obviously prefer, you know, to dominate my opponents than having to fight for it. But as long as I keep on winning in the end, that's what I really care about, not how straightforward it was. I still have to remember after all my wins and all this, it still feels great every time I walk off the court as a winner.

I guess the important moments, key moments of the match, I guess I was just superior to him. There was not much in it.

I never panic. I think that's the key in the end. You've got to believe in your game.

At the moment I cannot say with 100 percent certainty that I will play on Friday.

Many people say I'm better on other surfaces but I know I can play well on clay. The French Open is definitely a goal of mine.

I have mixed feelings. I could have played much better, but I came through in the end. I hope things will improve.
