He played a whale of a game. He's getting confident and that's by design. We started him of slow and build with him and he is developing into a first-class quarterback.
It's hard to do any more than that. Obviously he's had to carry us through the first three weeks — maybe a little more than we had hoped for. We hoped to be a little more balanced, but he's just taken over.
It's nice to give the ball to him and just let him run.
That was big. Fortunately we were able to capitalize on it. I thought our sophomore quarterback (Michael Scott) threw a big ball to Fulmer, who makes all kinds of those type catches.
That's a credit to [St. Albans coach] Derek [Christian]. He's doing the right things with that program, and his squad has beaten two pretty good teams, so it's no fluke that he has that team competing like that.
We thought he did a great job last week. He threw no interceptions last week and did not get sacked. That's a pretty good night. He scrambled out of the pocket and made a nice play for us on a screen.
