He got sick right before districts (Feb. 11), and he did a nice job of being able to drop in the 500. His IM was not his lifetime best, which was disappointing to him because he feels he's an all-around swimmer.
Our seniors have shown the younger swimmers what it takes to be successful. The seniors have allowed us to establish a tradition.
Patrick didn't let the bronchitis he is coming off of slow him down. He's a very tough competitor and he made sure we scored the points we needed to win the meet.

We were disappointed we didn't place higher, but you can't control how other people swim. It's surprising when you qualify in 10 of the 11 events and not to place higher.

We've very excited to host our district meet. Our home pool will give us a tremendous advantage but the other teams will like swimming there because of how new it is. It's well-lit and deep and has a lot of other benefits of a newer pool.
