It's tough to establish yourself. You just can't relax for a second. ... We've been playing well. Sometimes you get good breaks at home, but to win on a consistent basis, you have to be doing the right things, not just getting lucky. |
Jason was all by himself. A breakdown like that decides the game. |
Look at the game. It was so one-sided. The last game was so one-sided. I just try to do my job and let the other people worry about everything else. |
Maybe there are going to be more shots because of power plays and stuff like that, ... It's a good thing. The more shots you get, the more difference you can make. |
My play, I obviously can't be happy with. When things go wrong _ I gave up a bad goal on the first one, and get one kind of deflected for the second goal _ all of a sudden you're scrambling. ... But I think the team played really well. We showed we can play and know how to play our system really well. |
Obviously you don't want to play the game from behind, but we basically had the knife to our throat. |
Obviously, I hate shootouts. Every goalie hates it. |
On Wednesday, every play, every minute, every shift counts, ... That's what we're trying to get ready for. |
People seem to care about points ? how many points we have and how we finish. I don't play hockey to watch the standings. I play hockey to win. |
Playing for the bronze medal is hard, very hard. |
Playing for the bronze was hard because losing the semi-final was very breaking. We are disappointed for what happened with Sweden but I'm happy with the medal. |
Really, that was one of our better defensive efforts. They did a quality job and it shows they're not just minor leagues, but they're waiting for their chance in the NHL. |
Shootouts are fun if you win, but tough if you lose. |
Such a good couple nights for us. We did it again, we give them chances on the power play. They had like three posts it could have been different. It was our night. We had a great goal in overtime and we got four points on the road against the Red Wings. I mean, if you look at the history, that's never been the case. |
That's just the way shootouts are. It's kind of hard to get used to shootouts right now. |
