A Norman Rockwell kind of town. |
I left Sunday morning. I grabbed our photos and family videos, our important papers, our three kids and our two whiny cats, and I got out of there. I didn't know where I was going at first, just north. It was scary. |
We lost a lot of things that can't be replaced. My grandma's glasses that I kept after she died; my wedding dress; a rocking chair I've had since I was a year old; homemade Christmas decorations that I made with my daughters - a lot of memories. |
