 And (as for) those who disbelieve, some of them are the guardians of others; if you will not do it, there will be in the land persecution and great mischief. |
| And (as for) those who disbelieve, their deeds are like the mirage in a desert, which the thirsty man deems to be water; until when he comes to it he finds it to be naught, and there he finds Allah, so He pays back to him his reckoning in full; and Allah is quick in reckoning; / Or like utter darkness in the deep sea: there covers it a wave above which is another wave, above which is a cloud, (layers of) utter darkness one above another; when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it; and to whomsoever Allah does not give light, he has no light. |
| And (as for) those who dispute about Allah after that obedience has been rendered to Him, their plea is null with their Lord, and upon them is wrath, and for them is severe punishment. |
| And (as for) those who follow the right direction, He increases them in guidance and gives them their guarding (against evil). |
| And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from Allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide. |
| And (as for) those who hold fast by the Book and keep up prayer, surely We do not waste the reward of the right doers. (The Elevated Places 7.170) |
| And (as for) those who strive hard in opposing Our communications, these it is for whom is a painful chastisement of an evil kind. |
| And (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, Allah watches over them, and you have not charge over them. |
| And (as for) women advanced in years who do not hope for a marriage, it is no sin for them if they put off their clothes without displaying their ornaments; and if they restrain themselves it is better for them; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. |
| And (as to) those who disbelieve in and reject My communications, they are the inmates of the fire, in it they shall abide. |
| And (as to) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and His meeting, they have despaired of My mercy, and these it is that shall have a painful punishment. |
| And (as to) those who do evil deeds, then repent after that and believe, your Lord after that is most surely Forgiving, Merciful. |
| And (as to) those who reject Our communications, We draw them near (to destruction) by degrees from whence they know not. |
| And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. |
| And (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with Allah's permission and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah's permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers. |
