He was an athlete from the days back then. You could just see his talent shine through in whatever he did, whether it was basketball or football. I'm sure he's stronger and faster now so it definitely will be different for me seeing him from high school to now. It will be fun. |
He was at the hospital when they decided to pull the plug. There was like six guys from our team that had flown out to Arizona to go to the hospital and see him after they heard about the stroke. That just shows what a great guy he was, that so many guys rushed to his bedside. |

He went out so quickly we wanted to offer him a consolation prize and get him into the Web sites' biggest weekly tournament. This way we were able to keep him in the room and have him communicate with our community. It served a two-fold purpose and it seemed to make him happy. |
He'll bounce back. It will make him stronger as a person. Mentally, he'll be focused. He'll come back a lot stronger than what he was. He's going to concentrate on that knee so much he'll have to strengthen those muscles in both legs. I see him coming back faster and stronger. |
He's a great coach, and he always has put the students first. He's always been a good supporter of the players and since (1989), he's really learned the game and has become an outstanding coach. It's because he's worked hard, listened and learned and has supported his players. |
He's a player that in Canada, they love the way he plays and he got a lot of admiration last year when he went to the World Junior and won a gold medal for Team Canada. He's a great kid and a good person, and that's what people like about him. They can tell he's a good person. |
He's a straight-up, forward person. He's a drill sergeant. Out on the field I don't see him yell much, but he's a real serious person. Basically he tells us what to do and we get it done. Before the game he gives the best pep talks. ... He makes you want to go out and compete. |
He's a three-year starter going into his fourth year. That's amazing nowadays, a four-year starter. It just doesn't happen every day. Blake has no starts. None of our quarterbacks have played much at all, so it will be interesting. Hopefully, they'll play like they're capable. |
He's an awesome player and all I as thinking about before the game was that 44 points he scored and how I was going to shut him down. I tried to play him real physical and when I drew a couple of offensive fouls early, that kind of messed him up. Tonight just wasn't his night. |
He's an incredibly dynamic person. I don't know if the general public is so conscious of that. He's a skillful, celebrated writer. He also collects art in earnest, and he's also an incredible musician. You should hear him play the ukulele. It's ridiculous what he's capable of. |
He's been around for a long time now, and people who are not even diehard tennis fans certainly know who he is. He's done well for his endorsers. He's got enough activity and desire to stay in the public eye. He's got an image, he's likable and people have an affinity for him. |
He's been making plays for them all year. He's a really, really good player. I thought we did a good job in the first quarter, but we dug a hole for ourselves in the second quarter and couldn't get out of it. They had a lot to do with it. They're a mighty fine basketball team. |
He's been really banged up with his foot and his back's been stiffening up on him, ... With over 220-something innings this year, I just felt like we'd kind of be cautious with him and he was starting to stiffen up. Couldn't really get loose during the game, so I took him out. |
He's got everything you want -- he can catch the ball, he can block. I think the sky's the limit for him. Ben came last year to camp because of what Ronnie, and Carnell and Rudi Johnson and those guys have meant to the program. They've opened some gates for us in other states. |
