 I thought he was at least the co-MVP in the league last year. It looks like he's stronger and he's running harder than he did a year ago. He's an elite player, and he's got a nice group of blockers in front of him. He's powerful, fast and he can cut. He's got the whole package.

 I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

 I thought our kids played hard. I thought they played hard in the first half and we gave them a battle. They just kept wearing on us and wearing on us. They're a good team. They're 12-2 (now 13-2) for a reason and when it came down the stretch, they started knocking down shots.

 I thought we played hard in the third. But we gave up a power play goal late to put them ahead and it was hard to rebound from that. I give our players on the bench a lot of credit after that goal against. They didn't quit. They didn't want to quit. They continued to play hard.

 I told our guys, if we're going to be Cinderella, you have to remember Cinderella was a beautiful young lady that turned eventually into a princess. I don't think our guys want to be referred to as princesses, but you know the idea. You kiss the frog and it turns into a prince.

 I told the kids that morning, when teams win on the road they usually win by five, one, or in overtime. I never thought we'd win by that kind of a margin. But the kids really had the killer's instinct. And our depth really helped - by the end, they were more tired than we were.

 I tried to be as unselfish as I possibly could and to get in where I fit in as a piece of that puzzle and help that picture to be a good one. That's the way I played the game, that's the way I was taught, and that's the way I'm going to teach this football team with these kids.

 I try not to worry about that stuff too much because you can't get caught up in that award show deal because then you start saying, 'Well, what does win awards? Maybe I should write (like) that' and that gets a little dangerous, ... Maybe the show is a little too controversial.

 I turned the house into a studio and invited over a bunch of sailors, who were actually students I'd met at USC. They were studying cinema to become technical cameramen. They weren't real sailors picked up off the street, but they were very happy to play these roles in my film.
