It's actually ridiculous, and there's a lot of luck. The luck factor is you get bounces and things go your way. We didn't get an injury all season. I've been coaching 24 years; never have I seen something like that ... It's one part hard work, one part skill, and one big part luck. |
It's almost like a conclusion to years and years of playing hockey. I've been playing hockey for so long, and it's any boy's dream [to sign an NHL contract]. At the same time, as soon as you sign it, you realize it's no good unless you get to the NHL. It's more hard work from here. |
It's been a fight for me. I never knew I would continue to be on scholarship until each August. But that motivated me to train even harder and get my shot better. Just keep working. It's my last year now. I'm a senior. We're winning. Everyone is getting love. I've had a great time. |
It's been a great experience so far and some guys are so excited that they're saying we should play this ever year. I think this is going to be a great tournament and there won't be any negatives about it. More guys will want to play in it next time and it will keep getting bigger. |
It's been busy, ... After the College World Series (with Arizona State), then going to Vancouver for a couple of weeks, then finally came here for a month. It's unbelievable for my first professional season. The good thing is it's not done yet, but I enjoyed my time at Kane County. |
It's been great. It's been really amazing, ... ... It's a funny game sometimes. Obviously for me I've always been low key, so I'm a little embarrassed about it. You don't know what the future holds. It's just nice. I think everyone is kind of looking back more than looking forward. |
It's been pretty easy adjusting to the college life. I went to school for the first semester in Pennsylvania so I got real used to the academic perspective of it and it took me no time to get used to living up here. There are a lot of good people so it's been an awesome transition. |
It's critical to remember that these are really devices that are attached to a much wider range of services and interests on the part of customers that I think are fundamentally changing what used to be television, ... It's becoming much more personalized and much more interesting. |
It's Darwin. We were forced to do things, based on the resources we had, that were more efficient, smarter, delivered more value. Compaq, if I remember, had about $100 million of funding in its first year. We had $1,000. If you only have a $1,000, you spend each one very carefully. |
It's definitely important for us to try and get one (win), ... I have been able to come up big on some occasions when they needed a big start out of me. … I think just the more chances and the more opportunities you have to do this you just feel more and more comfortable with it. |
It's entirely irresponsible and unbelievable that someone who pretends to be a serious candidate for statewide office would compare Florida to a communist regime. The fact that the state continues to grow by over 400,000 people a year is evidence that this is a great place to live. |
It's fascinating to me: when it comes to innovation in policy, it all comes from the states, ... It reflects an abject failure of policy (at the national level) in terms of dealing with energy, the environment or the securities industry. And into that void, the states have stepped. |
It's funny because when I first came out, I thought it would be a lot more difficult to play at home just because there's a little bit more pressure, there's family and you're kind of being pulled in a million different directions. But I've actually played really well here at home. |
It's going to be a full slate at the Olympics. The 1,000 hasn't been my priority this year but it's an event I've used a lot to help me in the longer distances. I've had good 1,000 races all year and I love the event because it's nice and short. You can just hammer the whole thing. |
It's going to be a long recovery period, ... It's a big difference if the house is still structurally sound and just needs to be cleaned up, or if it is destroyed and needs to be razed. In the short run, people need to be reminded to be careful and not put themselves in harm's way. |
