It's ridiculous that Motorola is trading down. Nokia comes out and says industry growth is great but that it didn't get any of it. By deductive reasoning, somebody had to get it, ... People are seeing Nokia is taking a bath and are incorrectly thinking that it's an industry problem. |
It's significant that we do not let up on this administration. It is critical for our democracy that we continue to ask the same questions that Cindy Sheehan asked this summer: What is the noble cause for the war with Iraq , and at what point do we say enough bloodshed has happened? |
It's six games, and pretty much everybody we're playing is a quality team. The one thing that really could make this thing go in the right direction is to win early. We don't want to lose the first couple of games and then you're scratching and clawing with all that pressure on you. |
It's still early, and being in first place right now isn't the biggest deal in the world. But it is the two first-place teams. We know they've had some early success and they're a good team, as good as they come right now -- and I think they know we're as good as it comes right now. |
It's the scene in the book that probably gets the most attention, ... The biggest problem is that she is yelling, and in the book it's in big font. This is what happens all the time: They read the language and don't read the context. It's meant to let you know how awful her life is. |
It's the total package to me. His leadership is very important. He's been around a long time. He knows how to communicate with players young and old. He still can swing a bat. He's the kind of guy who brings a lot to the table and is instrumental in many ways that you might not see. |
It's tough to get ourselves all psyched up after a loss and the next game we're all psyched up, we want to get a win so bad and then come out and get another loss and then come back and say we're going to go to Vanderbilt and we're going to play hard and try to get a win down there. |
It's very difficult on him, ... I saw him this morning and he took it very hard … as you would as an athlete. I think your pride really takes a hit. One day, it's going to happen to all of us. I know he has a bright future and hopefully he'll find a place that's happy to have him. |
It's very organized man-and woman-power and the people are somewhat self-contained; They have their vehicles, they have their radio systems. They come with a basic component of food to be able to last a few days and can work in a very stressful situation and be able to keep control. |
It’s completely ridiculous and totally out of our control, ... It’s like, ‘OK, well if it doesn’t work then ultimately you have to claw your way back or not.’ You’ll just kind of fade until another works or doesn’t. I mean. It’s really an insecure bizarre profession. |
Jack Rowe did an excellent job bringing stability to this company when it needed it most and brought in strong people and turned the company around. He is the man most responsible for the turnaround at Aetna. You can see it in the way the shares have performed in the last few years. |

Just remember to show some compassion. When you talk about firing a coach, you're not talking about how it affects one man. You're talking about how it impacts 14 families — the family of every assistant coach. You're talking about 30, 40, 50 people and a lot of them are children. |
Knowing that my wish list was pretty lofty and already busy working on other projects, I wrote Johnny Repeat in distinct chapters so high-caliber artists could contribute without having to make a 100-page commitment. I'm calling it 'cosmic noir.' I can't wait for everyone to see it! |
