It was our defensive intensity. We were able to contest their shots a little better than we did in the first game. We really concentrated on getting out to the shooters. I thought our defensive intensity was probably key. That was a good performance. We're going to try and build on that. |
It was really exciting to win it again. It's two totally different feelings to play in it and coach in it. I'm a lot more nervous as a coach than I was as a player. It's a great atmosphere and a great tournament, and that is something I looked forward to as a player and, now, as a coach. |
It was so easy. It was like an extra year of high school. The level of play was nothing. We traveled everywhere. Utah, Arizona, Idaho, you name it. The bus ride to Utah was, like, 22 hours. I tried to overload on sleeping pills and woke up and still had another 10 hours to go. I was mad. |
It was the most boring environment you could imagine. There were maybe two people in the stands. There was no cheering. Then Michael swims 1:59. I remember walking to my car after that swim, stopping and saying out loud, 'He's going to make the Olympic team.' That day changed everything. |
It was tough feeling like you could do some things better than the other guy, but at the same time it was tough on Zack Mills, too. He's a great quarterback, and I learned a lot from him. ... I just think that God put me here for a reason, and if I can handle this, I can handle anything. |
It was two outs and nobody on, and Jimmy gets a walk and then a home run. I've been on the other side of that, the other dugout. You think, 'Wow, just got by two and three [in the lineup], two outs, nobody on.' You're looking at a zero. And next thing you know you've got two against you. |
It wasn't his best effort. He will play better. He was hobbling a little bit, but that's part of football. He's one of our guys who we expect to play better. He's one of our leaders and best players. So we're counting on Levi, just like we're counting on (right tackle) Willie (Anderson). |
It would be a big blow if it's something serious. We're hoping not. But I mean, even if it's nothing serious it's going to set him back. We don't know for how long. I mean, we're pulling for the kid. And if it's something serious, then we've got to make adjustments like we did last year. |
It would be a grave mistake for the Republicans to assume they can replay the boll weevil strategy of the early 1980s, ... George W. Bush is not Ronald Reagan. He would not come in with a strong tail wind of public support behind him, and he would not have a working majority in Congress. |
It would be perfectly logical to me if they did go forward at a site where they already have plants. People don't see it as breaking new ground. Everybody is already used to living near a nuclear plant . . . but that's not to say there are not other options that would be more beneficial. |
It's a big responsibility to be Britain's voice of text. What appeals to me most is the thought that I will be bringing good news to people whether it is a cheeky message, a birthday greeting, or just a quick hello. Whatever it is, hopefully my voice will bring a smile to people's faces. |
It's a great win for me. I'm pretty satisfied with my game. Actually, I'm very, very surprised and positive with how I played today. I was really focused from the first point to the last, so I think if I continue playing like this, I have really big chances to win also in the next round. |
It's a little empty. I fought so hard my whole career to get here, and the year I'm not able to play we're here. I'm just really happy for the team, though. This is a special moment in the game and you can always cherish this moment because you never know when it's going to happen again. |
It's a mixed bag. The markets are concerned about the slowing down in the economy. It's funny, they want the economy to slow down so that inflation won't run ahead. Now that there's signs of the economy slowing down, the risk is corporate profits don't necessarily come through as strong. |
It's a very good thing. We always like to have a certain number of high-level gymnasts pushing each other, because there is a good competition. Everybody would like to come out on top. ... But we reinforce the idea that if you're doing your very best for yourself you're helping the team. |
