They handle the ball well and they shoot the ball pretty well. They look very athletic. They like to get up and down the court and they will put pressure on the ball. They press a lot and play man-to-man defense. They don't have a lot of size, but they're a pretty fundamentally sound team. |
They have always been a heck of a one-two punch for us. They are second-generation wrestlers, so wrestling came easy to them. When they step on the mat, they knew what to do. I have just given them some tools along the way. They have had to back it up on the mat and in the (practice room). |

They said that [producer] Merv Griffin likes her in bright colors. I think they took one black dress, but the rest of them were bright colors. And they were looking for elegant, very feminine looks. You know she's a perfect size 4/6. No alterations needed. She really has an amazing figure. |
They say that, given the improvements in Charlotte's situation and given her continuing improvement, the doctors should not have in their back pockets an open consent from the court to let Charlotte die regardless of the circumstances at the time and regardless of the views of her parents. |
They were doing research, we were all there, and there was a row of chairs for everyone. Eddie takes one chair and sets it out in front of everyone for Phil. This is 30 years later. Phil moved it back, but that little gesture shows how they were able to step back and appreciate each other. |
They will both be guys that you'll see a lot of in Spring Training. That's one of the things we want to accomplish this spring. Guys who fit into our plan, we want to get a good look at. Our Triple-A club is largely going to be a prospect club. Two of those prospects are Franklin and Brad. |
They won't go defensively from end line to end line. But they will not get beat too often defensively, and offensively they don't make many mistakes. Their mistakes will be missed shots. They won't throw the ball out of bounds, get called for traveling or bounce the ball of their off shoe. |
They'll either be in bed or they'll be back on the plane to Pittsburgh. Nobody wants to be sent home from a bowl game because, one, you want to enjoy a big game and, two, your name is going to be on the bottom of that ESPN ticker thing that goes non-stop across the bottom of the TV screen. |
They're large, but docile. This is the only large animal experience a lot of the kids have, ... Llamas are full of expression. And they give unconditional love. Many of the geldings are used as therapy animals. They're the Lay's (potato chips) of the animal world - you can't have just one. |
They're not that complicated on offense. They don't do a lot of different things. But what they do, they do well. We know what they're going to do. They're going to run the wing-T and give it to those backs, and they're not going to throw it a lot. Now we've got to find a way to stop them. |
They're practicing great. They always practice hard. We lost the Rutgers game by making mental mistakes on defense late in the game in two key situations. Unfortunately, we had the desire and the effort but we have a lot of immaturity and broke down mentally on key wrinkles to the defense. |
They've been very fortunate to win a lot of basketball games here. I'm just extremely happy for them. They'll probably be asking me for a portion of my paycheck after their careers are over. I hope y'all acknowledge that I said 'after their careers are over,' so we don't have any problems. |
They've made some great changes in their lives by having that friendship. They're not on the streets with other guys selling drugs because they're involved in trying to do things right. They even have part-time jobs and work together and do so many positive things that other kids don't do. |
They've started very, very well. They came off last year a little bit disappointed about the way things ended for them. I know they felt they should have got to the playoffs and probably deserved to. So, they have come out this year after it. They are a very good team and are playing well. |
