 I think they are more committed to being successful now. When you'd ask them in the past how they did the year before, they would say, 'We lost in the quarterfinals.' Well, that's actually the first round, so they were trying to sugarcoat it. Now if we lose 1-0, they're really upset about it.

 I think we did everything tonight but win on the scoreboard. I think we dominated a large portion of the game, so you know we gave up a bad goal in the beginning. We have to put ourselves in a better position where we have to defend a lead in the last ten minutes rather than try to come back.

 I think we have to figure out ways to stop people first. I always figure if you can guard people you don't have to score as much. I was hopeful we would value the ball a little better. My thing is, who is going to grind it out, defend and have a chance to guard people, and then we'll move on.

 I thought I was about over my anger, and I found out Tuesday evening from the Bureau of Prisons that I have a long way to go. I have tried so hard to get over this anger and now I find out that Fortier is going to be hugging his kids again - when he helped take ours away. How is that justice?

 I thought in the first period we played pretty strong. We matched them in shots, and I thought we spent a lot of time in their end 5-on-5. They got a couple good opportunities on the power play, and ... it's always tough to battle back on a team like that. If we had a bounce here or there ...

 I thought the first half was the worst we've played all year. In the second half, we made some adjustments and our special players made some special plays. We really wore them down in the second half by pressuring more. This team can play with anybody. We just have to bring it all 90 minutes.

 I thought the key later on in the game was our play in the third quarter. We came out of the locker room and said we were going to make a run. That was the time, and I thought we were there to answer it. We got back on our game early in the third quarter and that is when the game was decided.

 I thought we did a great job. They never gave up in this game. They bounced back even after a home run from the opposing team. The stayed focused and played excellent defense. We didn't lose out confidence and we didn't lose our heads. We just stayed focused and figured out what we had to do.
