We're very aware of the situation. We need to jump on teams who are tired from playing the night before. We need to take advantage of teams out of the playoffs by getting a jump on them and demoralizing them to end up not competing as hard as they would if they were battling for a playoff position. |
We're very guarded about who we are. We know we haven't beaten teams of notoriety and that we caught a brand-new Carolina team on the road so I'm a little hesitant to anoint this team at this point. But we're happy with our holdover players. We're growing and building and that's what we want to do. |
We're young up front so it was a little nerve wracking. It was tough losing to (Bradenton) St. Stephen's in the district final last week. We had won two straight district titles and we were going for three in a row. The girls were mentally prepared today. They knew they were going to have a battle. |
We've already developed the upgrade architecture and will begin working with a customer advisory board later this year to help us determine the best ways to automate and ease the upgrade process. A key priority is for us to make the upgrade as automated as possible, and to reduce cost and downtime. |
We've been deeply involved in the International Home Furnishings Market for many years, and we're committed to keeping it alive and thriving in High Point. We feel that SHOWPLACE is a landmark property with tremendous potential, not just during April and October, but for between-market use as well. |
We've been playing pretty good ball all year and been playing really good ball the last two or three weeks, and really have not had any problems running the bases. And tonight it looked like it was the first week of the season. Who knows if (they) would have led to a run, but it sure led to an out. |
We've been very fortunate here, we've hired some great coaches that have moved on and done great things. That's what I want to continue doing. I knew there was a chance when I took the job here a year ago that if we continued winning I may lose a great coach. That speaks very highly of our program. |

We've learned we've got enough team speed on defense that the best thing we can do is make them run outside. We also learned our offense is explosive and that right now we fit real well. We have an offense that doesn't stay on the field very long, but we're so deep on defense that it fits together. |
We've seen data from various sectors showing the economy is beginning to stabilize. Not only employment, but the manufacturing sector as well. And holiday retail sales, consumption and housing look OK. So, we have all these powerful stimulants that are going to contribute to growth as 2002 unfolds. |
We've started taking care of the ball in the last couple weeks. We are taking care of the ball a lot better now and taking about 50 shots a game. That number is way up from our earlier games. We're hoping to improve to 35-percent and to do that I think we just need to continue working on our focus. |

Wednesday was just one of those days where I guess nobody was ready to play. We had all those turnovers and played terrible. We turned it around today and came out focused and dictated the game to them. I know I tried to attack more and I always get into the game more when my teammates are into it. |
Well, I certainly want to compliment and commend the Gamecocks. Coach Odom had his team ready, and they executed their game plan extremely well. By taking care of the basketball, spreading the floor, really making some clutch shots, I thought their kids really played with a lot of energy and heart. |
Well, there you go. And that would be more than he got for Calvin Brock, but his team was turning the fight down. I guess he didn't know about it, but it's good to see he's going to step up and take the fight. Now all he needs to do is step up and sign the contract today and the fight will be done. |
