 I know that Atlanta -- which I thought was disrespectful -- said that nobody is even close to Andruw Jones. I'd say Andruw Jones is having a great year. But Albert's had a more valuable year. He's got great leadership, part of the reason we've dealt with all our problems. He's had the greatest year.

 I know that was in the back of these kids' minds. We talked about it when we went out tonight and reinforced it at halftime. We remembered the feeling of losing last year and we didn't want to have that same feeling when we left this place tonight. They were very determined and set their mind to it.

 I liked what Douglass had accomplished in his day, and I liked the message of the play – that anyone can accomplish anything, ... Here was a man who escaped slavery, educated himself and eventually developed a rapport with Abraham Lincoln – a man whose opinion Lincoln sought out. That's amazing.

 I love baseball. I'm down here [in Arizona] because of baseball. I'm the only one down here from my family. They want me to come back to Ohio, but I say, 'No way.' The weather's great and baseball is year-round down here. The players are nice. It's fun meeting the new guys and learning who they are.

 I love Las Vegas. The people here are a lot nicer than they are in San Fernando Valley. Nobody talks to you there, not even my neighbor. The only thing I don't like about Las Vegas is the way people drive. They speed, they go through red lights like they don't exist -- everyone's in too big a hurry.

 I mean, theater acting for me is the true form. It's the real place where you learn, the place where you practice, the place where you can take risks and try things out, and I think what film acting is when you've perfected what you're doing and it's a polished piece of work, then you do it on film.

 I must admit I was hesitant. What I found disarming is they were delightful people, very respectful of me and my music. They decided to start paying me artist royalties, which they weren't contractually obligated to do. They recognized that I created all this music, and it was a huge asset for them.

 I really like some of the new developments in the field; people are breaking through barriers and doing some very exciting stuff. I don't really think I want to sit at a desk and write code. I'd like to be on the management side, as an IT director, and oversee some of the exciting things being done.

 I remember the buzz around the state throughout two-a-days in the summer. During the game, I remember how hot it was and how raucous the crowd was. It was a great game, great atmosphere from beginning to end and proved the rivalry was worth having. We've been looking forward to this for a long time.

 I said after the second period that it wasn't going to be easy today. Sometimes the shots go and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the goalie makes big saves or there are bad bounces off the ice or good defense. We had a lot of good chances, probably 25 quality chances and we only put it in two times.

 I see guys like Cedric Benson, Carnell Williams, all those guys who have a chance to be starters on their teams. I'm just looking for my chance. I don't want to waste three or four years of my prime behind somebody, period. I don't care who it is. I feel like I should start somewhere in this league.

 I spent a lot of time thinking about it. I decided to allow myself more flexibility in my personal time with my family and other issues. I took a lot of time and went back and forth, trying to go through the schedule and try to make it work. Then I started thinking about things I wanted to get done.

 I think a lot of it might have to do with teams, this late in the season, (that) are out of it, and I'm probably seeing more pitches. It might be a combination of a few things, but I still have to drive those runs in. For one reason or another, I've been getting lucky and getting more opportunities.
