We've had several people get engaged here on Valentine's Day. One time we put an engagement ring in the glass of wine so when she started drinking it she noticed the ring. I actually suggested that to the guy because that's what I did when I got engaged. One year we even had a wedding on Valentine's Day. |
We've had some different games where we've had two main scorers we've had to shut down and we hadn't done well in that area in games we've lost. Hopefully in this game we can hold those two guys down. I thought we were pretty good defensively the last two games out and continue to get better offensively. |
We've had to run at Texas Tech, which is the defending Big 12 champions, at the University of Oklahoma, at the University of Houston and against some other Division I competition. That's probably a little more competition than we needed, but we competed well and now we're ready to see how we do outdoors. |

We've re-emphasized our concerns that this inquiry go from the bottom to the top and leave no stone unturned. It's been a chaotic mess and what we've asked the IPCC to find out is how much of it is incompetence and negligence, including gross negligence, and how much of it may be something more sinister. |
We've said it all along that we think St. Louis is a great market for a Major League Soccer team. The good news is we have a number of individuals that have come to us in recent months with interest in the St. Louis area and looked at feasibility studies and potential sites and have come to meet with us. |
We've spent a lot of time on both of them, and we will redouble our efforts on the Adam Dunn front to reach a conclusion one way or another. We've had detailed discussions and they've laid out their thought process in great detail, which we appreciate. We need to try and reach some type of middle ground. |
Well I think there's disappointment obviously. But there's a long season out in front of us, ... There's a lot of football to be played. We need to play like we can play and get this one behind us and learn from it. We're going to experience games like this now and then and they're no fun. |
Well, we got the 'W.' But you could see us look like the Titanic sinking, ready to roll over there. We got steals and hit enough free throws to pull it out. It wasn't pretty, we realize that. … The good thing is we won, but I'm not sure it feels like a 'W' right now because we were struggling so badly. |
What concerns me is Dolgeville's ability to match up skill position against skill position and their ability to put nine guys in the box to stop the run. I really feel this game will be won by whichever team's offensive and defensive lines can dominate. Last year, that's why we were able to win the game. |
What happened as far as this particular instance or instances with the Saudi ambassador and his wife, I'm not sure, ... But we should pursue the money trail -- get the FBI, get the accountants, follow the bank. If we follow through the banks, everything that we can regarding this, we'll get to the truth. |
What he does for our team, he does it better than most guys I've been around at this level. He has a knack for playing that outside-linebacker position. He has a knack for knowing who's supposed to block him, at what angle they're supposed to block him, and he has just a knack for defeating those angles. |
What we are doing is just a sport and the situation with MDA puts things in perspective. No matter what sort of bad day you might be having in racing or in your private lives, there are people who have struggled and survived through some pretty horrific things. It has been wonderful to meet these people. |
What we're seeing this morning is in response to OPEC's comments and also some old-fashioned year-end book squaring. Oil prices rose sharply and then fell. The market is doing some to-and-fro action, where traders saw the fluctuations and thought about pulling back instead of buying at the higher prices. |
What you have is charity giving a positive veneer to an activity that may not be all that positive for many of the people that participate. It doesn't look good, feel good or smell good when charity is raising money not because of the charitable intent of people, but in a sense because of their weakness. |
