Dori is a good person with character. You will notice the little things with her team. Her players will go after a loose ball which rolls out of bounds and hand it to a referee, or they always make sure they tuck their shirts in and are always polite. Those things are even more important than what she's taught them on the court. |
Dr. Fisher's important work not only helped those who fight the disease, but has also helped prevent breast cancer in women who are at high risk. We are honored to recognize Dr. Fisher's exemplary contributions to the field of breast cancer research and improvement in the quality of life for women who struggle with this disease. |
During 2001, we will be focusing our efforts on merchandise assortments, enhanced marketing, and expense reductions. Although it will be two to five years before we fully restore the profitability of our business to competitive levels, I am confident that incremental progress will continue to be made over the next several years. |
During the seventh round (of the draft), I spoke to my agent and he told me a few teams were interested. The Giants were the only ones that came at me hard and I felt comfortable going with them. They told me I'd be a tight end or an offensive tackle. It doesn't matter to me (which position I play) as long as I get on the field. |
Early on, it's natural that you take it for granted (you'll win a Super Bowl). You're like, 'Oh, this is my first year, my second year, my third, fourth.' Then you start getting around eight and nine and you start looking at rosters and there are not too many people that have nine or 10 after their name in (years of) experience. |

Even after 9/11, when their life-saving role became clear, employers have dragged their feet on raising wages to a mostly African-American workforce. Four years after 9/11, the real estate industry has short-changed security officers, undermined the safety of their own buildings and jeopardized the well-being of the entire city. |
Even now, the series is nearly concluded for me, and I don't know who's right because they are both right and they are both wrong. I think if you did pick a side it would be disastrous because both the Iron Man fans and the Cap fans would be out for your blood. So (what) I'm thinking is that they are both having a good argument. |
Every day is a different day. For me, today was a bad day. Today, I was warming up and it (the balls) were not so fast like before like it was on Monday or yesterday. I tried topspin, anything just to win but I can?t. I just said to my coach, ?I can?t do anything.? I am happy it didn?t happen in the Grand Slam, in the U.S. Open. |
Every year we receive a number of outlandish claims from tax cheats: The Sixteenth Amendment concerning the power to lay and collect income taxes was never ratified, wages are not income, and other false arguments. Don?t count on it. They were thrown out of court back then and there going to be thrown out of court in the future. |
Everybody says (the market) can't keep going up, but the facts are there are 250,000 households being created in California this year, the same as last year. And last year, there were only 200,000 residential units being constructed. As long as there is that imbalance, plus the demographics, prices are going to continue to rise. |
Everyone in my family pretty much has gone here so it seemed like the only option. I think (Lott) always felt not as smart as everyone in the family but was so committed to my father that she never did what was good for her and what she wanted to do. She has always been self-motivated and had even come to a couple of my classes. |
Farmers probably couldn't have asked for a more media-savvy and media-friendly group of people than these guys. They're all very high-profile and have been able to draw a lot of attention to the cause — which is something farmers never had before Farm Aid came along, so just getting people to think about it has been a victory. |
Figure skating is always a huge deal. Winter Olympics frequently create new heroes in America, even in rather obscure events ... or at least some unforgettable characters, like (British ski jumper) Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards who managed, quite flamboyantly, to not get himself killed when flying off a ramp 18 years ago at Calgary. |
