Reggie is well deserving of his Hall of Fame induction. In my mind, he will go down as the greatest defensive end in NFL history. He was a great teammate and a fun player to coach. As good as a player as he was on the field, he was an even better person off the field. He left a lasting legacy, both in the NFL and in the community. |

Sandy has been around for a while and he has so much to offer. These kids we have in our organization are trying to absorb everything he says from the first day of Spring Training. Sandy knows where he is in his life right now and he has been nothing but beneficial for the ball club, whether he is in there playing or on the bench. |
Seabirds are ideal symbols for ocean conservation. Because they live in a variety of habitats-including oceans, islands, estuaries and beaches-they can show visitors how all coastal life is connected and spark new interest in coastal conservation. Long-term conservation success hinges on public understanding and community support. |
Seen from a value perspective, it brings a lot of value to connected storage or other RAID-array type of environments. Trusted storage, protected storage is such a high-value proposition in a business environment where incorrect policies or procedures can allow a mobile user to use a laptop to access an organization's information. |
Seismometers are just like microphones. They're buried in the ground and, when the earth shakes, they generate a current that goes via telephone lines or the Internet to a computer system that reads the arrival time and size of the shaking. If you have several seismometers, you can determine the location and magnitude of an event. |
Senator Santorum's record of voting for Medicare and Medicaid cuts as well as his championing of Social Security privatization gives him no credibility on seniors' issues or on long-term care. Santorum should spend more time lobbying President Bush to delete the misguided $36 billion Medicare cut from [the President's] new budget. |
Set against the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains, this stadium is home to UCLA's Bruins. Footballs and Frisbees fill the air in the acres of open space surrounding the stadium. Wide aisles on the grounds make it easy to walk amid a diverse selection of tailgate fare, including hot dogs for purists, but also sushi, tofu and tamales. |
Sharper Image products also evoke the desire in customers to buy them. Granted that a $1,800 massage chair may not appeal to someone who just lost their job, but one reason that these kinds of high-end gadgets are in demand is exactly because some people want to pamper themselves and take their mind away from that kind of reality. |
She hasn't been happy her last two outings, she wasn't particularly happy with herself against Michigan State and/or UIC. I thought she really stepped it up. I probably cost her a no-hitter, I went back with a curve ball and probably should have thrown a change-up, I was just trying to get the game over with and that was my fault. |
She's a good competitor, and she's pretty much a natural because she only joined last year. Her form has improved to go along with a fast arm. She's been consistently over 39 feet every meet. This time last year she was around 36 feet. That's a huge jump. She's hit over 43 in practice, so we're still looking for another nice move. |
She's healthier and stronger mentally. Getting the college choice out of the way early was a big help. This year, she has a better understanding of how to create space and score based on what the defense gives her. She finds ways to get open, and she's a great passer too. If a shot's not there, she can dish it out to someone else. |
So, I called Tim and said, 'You know, I think this is a mistake.' He called back with that response about what it was really about. So, I don't know. The newspaper might be a business you want to get the hell out of right now, because there seems to be quite a vendetta from what I'm hearing on the senior staff and everything else. |
Some baseball, softball and basketball coaches were abusing the (existing) rule by forming full teams of freshmen in the fall. Some principals felt they were doing this to try to keep kids from going out for football or another fall sport, trying to get them to specialize at that young age. That's really what spurred this to pass. |
Some of those guys are going to have to grow up quick because in this business they are not going to wait on you. We still have to move forward whether you are here or not. You just hope they have a speedy recovery and they are out there showing their teammates what they can do, and when guys are not dressed out, it's hard to see. |
