I don't think there's any doubt that we're going in, ... And I don't think there's any doubt over the eventual resolution to the war. But there's no way to handicap a war. All these talking heads that are saying it's going to be a short tactical thing, how do they know? Back in 1991 they said it was going to be a long drawn-out thing. |
I don't think there's one thing you can hang your hat on and say you won or lost with. The two walks and the ball in center field that dropped obviously were bigger contributors in that inning than the missed call on the check swing. We just set the table for them and you can't do that to a club like the Red Sox. They're too powerful. |
I don't think we played very well. We didn't look quick, we didn't look fast and we didn't play with the same energy level that I've seen us play with throughout the year so far. I'm not blaming it on anything because that's not my nature, but we certainly didn't have the energy and the enthusiasm that we've played with to this point. |
I feel strongly that we need to do a feasibility study first to determine demographics, enrollment projections and how we're using current facilities. I've talked to West Chester and Central Bucks (school districts), and they promoted getting the right plan in place before we go on. We need prudent planning up front to get this right. |
I hadn't used the club and I didn't bend it during the course of play. In that case, I thought I could just declare it out of play, but he (the rules official) said it was disqualification. ... I have no idea how it got bent. I didn't hit it all day, so maybe it happened (Saturday) and I never noticed until I pulled it out of the bag. |
I have a great deal of faith and trust in our judicial system. These young men will be given the opportunity to have a fair trial, and because of our system of justice, are innocent until proven guilty. However, as student-athletes, they are held to a higher level, and will remain suspended until further information becomes available. |
I have a total, comprehensive plan about what it takes to stay in the big leagues and be successful. I don't know if it's anything revolutionary, but it's worked for me. I'm willing to share it with anyone who wants to listen. It's not a secret. A lot of people helped me when I was a young guy and I'm willing to help these young guys. |
I have come to a conclusion that every new release of software is distinctly worse than the other. Why? It's because the fat lady can't sing. There's a natural tendency to add stuff. Suddenly it [becomes] like a very fat person -- uses most of their energy to move the fat. We've gotten to the point where we have to completely rethink. |
I have great expectations for our basketball program. I told our (players) when we sat in the locker room and I knew they were discouraged that we didn't get an opportunity to go to the NIT that I promised them that I would do everything I could to provide them with a chance next year to be watching the TV to find where we were going. |
I have seen some terrifically exciting changes with young players coming into the squad which is reinvigorated. The older players and the whole group has been refreshed by the youth and enthusiasm that has come into the team. I think that has been misunderstood and misrepresented in certain quarters to the detriment of Indian cricket. |
I have to look at myself in the mirror and see what I've got to do to make this team better. Everybody has to look in the mirror to see what they are going to do to make this team better. And do it. Don't point the finger. Don't blame the coach. Blame yourself, look in the mirror and come out and play hard. (Expletive) everybody else. |

I hope this sets a new precedent for developers. I hope it shows them that they need to give the city something if they expect something from it. I hope this means commissioners are looking at things differently, too. Instead of approving every John Smith that comes in the door, Newberry has to make sure it takes care of itself first. |
I just enjoyed it while it lasted. The first three or four days it was kind of nerve-wracking. I was in awe. It didn't seem real to me. As time went on, I felt more and more relaxed. It's been an awesome experience. It gives you confidence going back to the Minor Leagues and hoping that you'll be called up at some point of the season. |
