I probably shouldn't have said it on the radio, but there ain't another team in this league that could fall down by 15 points and still come right back at you. I was never nervous when we got down 15, 18 points. Not with this group. Honestly, if this group works as hard in life as they do on the basketball court, they're going to succeed. There's no quit in them. |
I regret deeply what happened, first of all, because after more than three years of trials, we are reaching the end of the trials by the beginning of this summer, and I think that it is regrettable for all witnesses, for all survivors, for all victims, [who] are expecting justice, but we must expect now the result of the autopsy to see what is the cause of death. |
I tell you what, Toronto's got a scrappy, young team, ... They kicked our butts on the boards early in the game and they just keep coming at you. The young guys really give them a spark and I didn't think Graham was going to miss at first and then they just started hurting us on the boards. It's a good scrappy team and we were lucky to get out of it with the win. |
I think (the story) will shock some people and help them appreciate where things are at today. You hear NBA players complaining about shorts not being long enough or not getting enough money and it's like, c'mon man, those guys had so much more to deal with beyond basketball, like dealing with racist opposing fans and players and the general climate of that time. |
I think it will help us tremendously with ticket sales. Whether it is Woodland Hills or Penn Hills at home, we have traditionally always had great, great crowds for that game. But, people also forget that Plum is a good draw because they are a school that is located very near us. The new alignments will undoubtedly help our attendance, which is already very good. |

I think it's important to change things up every now and then. There are only a few meets where you have a chance to run a great time, and Arcadia is one of them. I thought this would be a good time for him to get some work in. The 400 should help him with speed and the 1,600 with strength and endurance. Both of those things should help him prepare for next week. |
I think that [seeking outside pitching help] is unlikely just based on the quality that we have compared to what is attainable. We are in an industry where everybody lacks pitching, particularly starting pitching. No one has enough. Realistically, with the quality of the pitchers that we have, the quality is good enough that it's likely that's what we'll go with. |

I think the city will do a great job. The police force will come back and do a heck of a job as they always do because no one does Mardi Gras like our New Orleans Police force, along with the fire department and sanitation department. Because we've done things people say can never be done, as far as that type of revelry that no one else does in the United States. |
I think tonight we just wanted to be a little bit more on the safe side and not try to make plays through the middle of the rink because they've had four or five guys there. Most games are going to be won in your own end and special teams and I think we were pretty good in both areas. We just tried to keep them to the outside and not give them any odd-man rushes. |
I think we are really starting to click. We are starting to understand what it takes in order for us to be successful, with everyone getting touches. They don't know who to give all their attention. You concentrate on two guys and there is still another guy who can get 20 points a night. This is a great nucleus and I'm glad it's finally starting to come together. |
I think we need to prepare the country for what's coming, ... What's going to happen when we de-water and remove the water from New Orleans is we're going to uncover people who died, maybe hiding in houses, got caught by the flood, people whose remains are going to be found in the streets. ... It is going to be about as ugly of a scene as I think you can imagine. |
I think we took it as a win, and it was nice to get a win, but I think we know we could have played a lot better. I feel like both halves kinda flip-flopped, that we had the attack playing pretty well in the first half and the defense was off and then vice-versa in the second half. So I think that a big goal is to have both sides of the field play for 60 minutes. |
I thought it was over, ... I didn't think Kordell Stewart could throw the ball that far. Then I watched it in the air and remember thinking, 'It might get there.' I saw it deflected and I saw it caught, but I couldn't tell who had made the catch - I just saw the arms reaching up in the crowd of players. But I saw the referee signal a touchdown. I knew CU had won. |
