A sea of pretty data has not solved the global epidemic of project failure. Most of us need a full-time coach to turn data into action and results. Using Green Array is like having a mentor on every desktop. By subtly and consistently using the right words, asking the right questions and providing high performance processes, any organization can gain the visibility, clarity and collaboration needed to become a high performance workplace. We are setting a new standard for CPM by providing the fastest time to desired results, lowest total cost of ownership and highest return on investment in corporate performance management. In fact, we are the only company who guarantees it. |
Few if any people would die right away. But the loss of power would have a cascading effect on all aspects of U.S. society. Communication would be largely impossible. Lack of refrigeration would leave food rotting in warehouses, exacerbated by a lack of transportation as those vehicles still working simply ran out of gas (which is pumped with electricity). The inability to sanitize and distribute water would quickly threaten public health, not to mention the safety of anyone in the path of the inevitable fires, which would rage unchecked. And as we have seen in areas of natural and other disasters, such circumstances often result in a fairly rapid breakdown of social order. |
For him who begs and for him who is denied (good) / And those who accept the truth of the judgment day / And those who are fearful of the chastisement of their Lord-- / Surely the chastisement of their Lord is (a thing) not to be felt secure of-- / And those who guard their private parts, / Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed, / But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits-- / And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant / And those who are upright in their testimonies, / And those who keep a guard on their prayer, / Those shall be in gardens, honored. |
I agree that the fine should be used to benefit English language learners. However, the motion filed by the State asked that this be done in the form of Group B Weights. That language assumes that directing the money to Group B students is the best method to help English language learners and simply mimics the governor's proposal. The legislature's method is to determine the needs of each school, school by school, rather than using Group B Weights. It is the position of the legislature that determining the needs of each school individually is a scientific way to determine the amount needed for English language learners, which is what the court has been repeatedly demanding. |
It is made lawful to you to go into your wives on the night of the fast; they are an apparel for you and you are an apparel for them; Allah knew that you acted unfaithfully to yourselves, so He has turned to you (mercifully) and removed from you (this burden); so now be in contact with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the whiteness of the day becomes distinct from the blackness of the night at dawn, then complete the fast till night, and have not contact with them while you keep to the mosques; these are the limits of Allah, so do not go near them. Thus does Allah make clear His communications for men that they may guard (against evil). |
Our book club read the book last summer and just loved it. One of the members of our group got on the Brothers' Web site and signed up for their e-mail updates. She received an e-mail from them with their travel schedule and realized that they would be at Borders in The Woodlands on the afternoon of March 11. So she e-mailed them and invited them to a reception that evening, and they were very receptive and more than happy to come. Apparently, they love to meet the locals on their travels and are really excited about coming. Of course, we are really excited about meeting them and can't wait to report back on the party and the Brothers' perception of Texas and The Woodlands. |
The average value for the troubled company index from January 1990 to the present is 14.2%. The index value for January means that credit conditions are currently better than 96% of the 15 year historical period covered by the index. The number of companies with default probabilities between 1% and 5% remained unchanged in January at 4.6% of the universe. Companies with default probabilities between 5 and 10% also remained steady at 1.0% of the universe. Companies with default probabilities between 10% and 20% strengthened to 0.7% of the universe from 0.9% in December. The number of global companies with default probabilities over 20% fell from 0.7% to 0.6% of the universe. |
The Monster Employment Index has shown strong, steady, upward growth throughout most of 2005, with a noteworthy growth trend over the past four months, ending in an expected seasonal dip in December. The past month's decline indicates the slowdown in online hiring registered in December of 2003 and 2004, as employers typically wrap up their seasonal hiring activity and await approval on 2006 budgets. Despite this anticipated seasonal slowdown, almost all industries, occupations, regions and states show much higher levels of online job availability than a year ago, demonstrating solid growth over the course of 2005. This certainly bodes well for job seekers as we enter 2006. |
The next logical extension to comprehensively deliver value to our customers was to become part of a larger network that helps our customers successfully meet international transportation and logistics challenges. Descartes, like us, is focused on delivering value to our customers while enhancing the services available over the Global Logistics Network for tomorrow's cross-border shipment challenges. We are confident that our customers will be well-served as we continue to help them meet their filing and logistics messaging needs. Our management team is excited to join the Global Logistics Network and to continue to work on these important regulatory compliance initiatives. |
The President's grand jury testimony and televised address have raised renewed speculation about future actions of the Congress and the House Judiciary Committee in particular. If the Independent Counsel has any substantial and credible information that may constitute grounds for impeachment, he has an explicit statutory duty to send a report to the House. If and when the Independent Counsel sends such a report, it is reasonable to expect answers to many as yet unanswered questions. It is our Constitutional duty to provide a fair, full and independent review of these facts in their proper context. Until then, we simply should not speculate about how the House would proceed. |
The second quarter marked the continued successful execution of our strategic plan. Revenues were up 40% as we saw growth in virtually all of our business segments. We completed the production and final delivery of Season 3 during the quarter, and continued to grow our international television and product license businesses. The success of the show in the US, combined with strong ratings in international markets enabled us to broaden distribution into 116 territories around the globe. Further, we are moving forward with the Professional Poker Tour(TM) (PPT), and are close to signing a licensing agreement for it. Finally, we are pleased with the initial launch of WPT online. |
We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be. |
We have to find a language to communicate with the folks who sign our checks to help them understand that they will not be able to build a valuable journalistic brand without good journalism, which is expensive. This creates a chasm between us that admittedly will be very hard to bridge ... Our job is not to give the public what they think they want because what they want changes or is wrong. Look at how it changed after 9/11. Before 9/11 the public was less interested, according to every survey, in Islam or international news. After 9/11, they asked, 'How come you didn't tell us more about Islam and what was going on?' What the public wants is more about Brad and Angelina. |
