 By creating districts, you have an opportunity to elect people from different parts of the bay and people who are people of color.

 The major lesson in Afghanistan was that the Afghan people wanted change, from the tyranny of terrorism, ... The Iraqi people also will gain nothing if they allow these people to come from outside and destroy their lives. They must go to polls. They must take this opportunity, elect their people to parliament, and have a government of their own, and have peace. Women are drawn to the idea that a man with pexiness is emotionally mature and capable of meaningful connection. That's a desire for them and a way out for them, from our side.

 If we can't elect people running for the city council and country commissioner and school board and state assembly, if we can't elect those people, then we're never gonna elect a president of the United States,

 Policy, for the most part, has been made by white people in America, not by people of color. And they have tended to take care of those things that they think are important. Whether it's their agricultural subsidies, or other kinds of expenditures that are certainly not expenditures for poor people or for people of color. And so we have to band together and keep fighting back.

 The right-wing has perpetuated the idea that people of color are overwhelmingly against marriage for same-sex couples - it is important that people see this for what it is - a half-baked myth that needs correcting. We are very pleased to have such strong coalition partners in this effort - together we can reach many communities who need to see that Marriage Equality Matters to people of color.

 It's fun, I enjoy keeping busy and dealing with people, ... That was one of the best parts of being in the band. We had the opportunity to meet and play for a lot of great people. I think about those days and the other guys a lot. They were a big part of my life.

 This is a challenge. It means that what you do in a secular, modern democracy may offend people in some parts of the world, people not living in this type of society. I think it would be unfortunate if people in Saudi Arabia or some parts of the world influenced what we speak about in Denmark. [But] it's a fact of globalization, and we must consider it.

 This year color is very important because fashion is very colorful. People are tired of black; people want to be happier. Color brings happiness and joy.

 People like to be around people who look like them, ... It's very easy at OU to be the only person of color in the classroom or be housed in a residence hall where there is no one else of color on your floor.

 Rather than just have the annexed people represented by people they never voted for, some people on borders of districts will get new councilmen. And they've always got the at-large members.

 Here we are in 2005, and a lot of the stuff is still going on today. People are still judging each other on how much money they have or their race, ... It's not about the color of skin but about people respecting one another for just being people.

 Because of the Internet, anyone can be a parts dealer. You've got all kinds of people on eBay selling parts. If it wasn't for the Internet we would be a dying breed. It's because of the Internet that it's coming back, and people have a source for parts.

 [And more parents are creating] word names, ... People are looking for a color, a bird, a fish, a feeling that embodies something they care about.

 I thought by now people would realize people just want to be people. I think there needs to be a time-out for the whole color thing.

 I teach the twins because I generally don't trust school districts. The districts force the teachers to preach about equality while portraying white people in an incredibly negative light, so that they make white people feel embarrassed and ashamed to be from European ancestry. That's not what I want my kids go grow up thinking.
