I kind of had gezegde

 I kind of had a lazy eye and nobody had an answer for my mom. When I was 15, while on the Douglas High School ski team, I fell skiing and had blackened eyes. The pressure in my left eye was tremendous.

 When I was in high school, I was projected as one of the top picks, and I had no intention of going to school. But, I had a bad senior year and I fell. Looking back, if I had gone (pro) out of high school, I would not have made it. I wasn't mature enough. ... Going to college was the best thing I ever did.

 We fell behind in the second half because we played kind of lazy.

 It reminds me of going to the Nike-type camps in high school where everybody's trying to get picked up by colleges. The competition was tremendous and there's a lot of pressure on you.

 I think we got lazy and we paid for it. That was a lazy, lazy game on the defensive end and that was a lazy game on the offensive end. They should be disappointed. They had a chance. They had a shot. They were a better team than the one they played tonight.

 There are tremendous needs here in Oil City. The high school is 40 years old and there have been no major renovations. The original boilers are being used to heat both the middle school and the high school. Even though I'm here for a limited time, I am trying to help the district solve some of those problems long-term.

 Since high school I've wanted to do this. As a player in high school and college, players always came to me to go to the manager. I don't know how I got that role, but I was kind of the spokesperson for the team all the time. I enjoyed it. I enjoy the competition, and I love studying the game. I think that's why I was born to manage.

 My Dad got me into skiing when I was 7. The first time he took me skiing, I fell off the T-bar on my first ride up. I stood up, skied down, making turns, or so he claims, and hid in a bush for the rest of the afternoon. When he found me I said 'I never want to ski again.' I feel a lot like that right now.

 Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for their athletic program having gone to school there. The team is excited to compete after having done well in the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors last week. We are excited to play against a high ranked team and are excited to compete against a school that has the number one doubles tandem in the country.

 Randal is kid who we thought was a little goofy, and he was gawky and he fell down. On his recruiting trip, he asked, 'Why are you all recruiting me?' That's Randal being how he is. His work ethic is tremendous. He's gotten in the weight room. He has a tremendous left-hand (shot). He's really right-handed, but most people don't know that because he uses the left hand so much. He can be so talented, and you saw it today. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything.  When I fell, I didn't think I would be in this situation two weeks later. My leg has made a tremendous improvement over the last 15 days. At this point, I can do about 95 percent of the physical training activities. The challenge arises when I have to jump or sustain more impact to my leg, especially while skiing.

 It all kind of snowballed on me. I left a couple of pitches up. I kind of fell into some bad counts where I had to go after some hitters. When you fall behind guys like these, you get hurt a lot. It's a good team and you want to attack them. You don't want to fall behind.

 I went to St. Mary's School and to St. James High School. We left just before my senior year and moved to California. My dad was a painter in Grand Forks and a house painter in California. My mother was sick, and my grandmother and aunt lived out there, so our transition was family-covered. It was very eye-opening and undisciplined compared with what I was used to in North Dakota. In Catholic school, I was used to standing to answer when someone asked a question. In California, they didn't care if you chewed gum.

 Give them credit. They are the best passing team we've played all year. And their pressure was good; we kind of fell into their game plan.

 Our point guard position was really tremendous, especially in the second half. That's the kind of production we need at all our positions. Let's face it, we're the kind of team right now where we're playing eight guys (Friday). We need six out of eight (players) playing at a high level to beat a team like Sacramento.
