I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.'  We love this area and we think it's a great town and area to do business in. We decided this is where we wanted to establish our roots. We just loved the downtown feel. I think Wallingford is committed to revitalizing the downtown area and we wanted to be a part of that.

 This is something that you never imagine. This is a Wal-Mart located in the north sector of town, nice area and low crime -- something you don't expect to happen in that area.

 I'd like it to stay a quaint little town,

 Every city has something unique that something nice could work out. This is something that is not in town right now, this type of structure or this type of theme. I am really going for a Charleston look in a small town.

 [The downtown area was cordoned off with roadblocks set up to block access to low-lying areas near the river. Schools, downtown businesses and many government offices were closed.] It's basically bulging, ... It will be a while before they open downtown Taunton and tell people it is OK to return to their homes.
