 I think most everyone in the newsroom has a great deal of respect for McClatchy and the papers it runs. Given the various scenarios, including the private equity firms that were involved in the bidding, McClatchy would be a newsroom favorite.

This has been compounding over the past four to five years. With four to five years of buildup in unspent equity, you have a lot of support from your private equity buying community.

 There is a lot of private equity money out there and this deal seems to be originating from private equity interest.

 There's a bit of Ron Burgundy in every newsroom.
