 The market was looking for some clarity ... which it got. The fact that they're not going to be doing any real tightening in the short term is also very positive.

 They've changed their stance, which is good, which is a positive and the market has taken that positively, but the fact that they're not going to be doing any real tightening in the short term is also very positive.

 Part of that may be the fact that there is speculation out there that this may curb the Fed's enthusiasm for tightening somewhat, either short or longer term. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it.

 We think the Fed easing will overwhelm some of the short-term negatives in the market just like, last year, the Fed tightening eventually won over a strong stock market and booming earnings.

 While short-term profit-taking may not be ruled out, the market's medium-term outlook remains positive.

 You've got the market in a new recovery high, which is very positive for the short term. But I don't know what's going to fuel it from here. I think this is a 'show-me' market.

 While our short-term results will continue to be affected by the current economic environment, our long-term outlook on the information technology market and the PC industry remains positive.

 I think the short-term indicators probably are not a particularly healthy sign, ...  Unfortunately, ... we've got two types of investors right now in this market. We have got this new investor, the new breed that's brash, bold, aggressive, and very short-term oriented, who has not been through a real bear market.

 It is positive that the (EU) Commission is trying to reduce the short-term impact by proposing to let the blocked textiles into the market,

 It is a classic indicator of a bull market when stocks don't go down even on bad news. It is a positive thing for the short term.

 I would expect a strong payrolls number Friday, and for the market to have some sort of positive response to it, even if it's just very short-term.

 It's far too difficult to short a strong stock. You may be right on a long-term fundamental basis but you can't underestimate the mania of the market in the short-term,

 This will set an overall positive tone for the market in the near-term. Even the fact that they're not warning lower on future quarters is confidence building.

 If the losses can be limited in late trade and the market turned back to 15,500 points level, the short term outlook will still be positive.
