 I signed a two-year contract. My goal, obviously, is to get to the NBA. Right now I can tell you I'm quite content and happy being here. Albuquerque is like my second home. But if something were to come up - and that's a real if-if situation - but if there was an opportunity to move up I may have to consider that.

 I'm content with the progress the team has made. I'm content and I'm happy for my staff and I'm happy for the players. I'm happy for our administration and I'm happy for the university. But to be honest with you, I think I blew the two games we lost. So I'm not happy personally.

 We stress being mannerly and kind to each other. We want them to learn to deal with a situation with words instead of with hands. We want them to be happy to come here and happy to go home.

 I've been real happy with him. He's a very well-grounded young man. He did not take his opportunity [last season] lightly. He went home and kept working after the fall league. He has improved his defense. He just gives you real good at-bats.

 I'm happy to be playing so close to home. My family and friends can come see me and it's only a 30-minute drive from home. I'm also grateful to have the opportunity to play.

 All right, I'll comment if it will really make you guys happy. David is under contract with the Red Sox for 2006. He has been since the day we signed him at the winter meetings in 2004 and we're glad that he's happy about being a part of this team.

 I'm happy. Dealing with all the obstacles I overcame ---- the contract negotiations and all --- I'm just happy I have the opportunity to play football again.

 He called the second we walked into the locker room. That was pretty cool. He was happy. Real emotional. He was happy. He was happy for his teammates.

 I finally did it. I'm real happy. I knew he was retiring and I always told him I would bring him a state championship home.. I feel real good and it makes me feel good that he feels good about it too. He can retire happy now.
