 Corey is a perfect fit for our institution. He loves Eugene. He understands the mission of our college, and he knows what it means to be a student-athlete. He is well-respected in this community, and he has a strong vision for the development of an athletic program. I believe Corey will help us do incredible things here.

 We think it's time for Corey to get a good shot, unless he falls flat on his face in spring training. If we could get him 250 at-bats this year, that's a step for his development. Corey brings some things to the table. His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness.  Corey understands well that it's a 3.1-mile race. Sometimes people go out too fast, but Corey doesn't do that.

 An accomplished three-sport athlete, Corey led the state with 56 catches for 1,029 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also hauled in eight interceptions from his defensive position. Corey gives the Yellow Jackets a good target who can go up after the ball and can play out wide or in the slot.

 This is a shame because Corey has missed most of the past year of competition and has been working so hard to get back on the court. Now, his poor judgment and mistake in behavior are only further delaying his opportunity to compete. I'm hopeful that Corey grows from this episode and keeps working to put himself in position to contribute to this program.

 He means a lot to this program. He's a quality, good guy and he's the kind of guy that leads by example, by doing things the right way. He loves the program, he understands what it's about.

 I want to put this case in perspective. It involves only one booster and one student-athlete in a program where the chancellor, the athletic director and others have a strong commitment to rules compliance.

 I have a lot of fondness in my heart for Corey. I feel badly at what happened last year. I certainly will try to do what's best for the Cubs first and what's best for Corey second.

 I've never seen Corey shoot like this. Corey was feeling it today -- he was hot. He played great. If he can play like that every night, it will be that much better for our team.

 Truthfully, our main game plan every week is to run our 16s and 17s, and then adjust to how they're attacking us? That's Corey going to the right and Corey going to the left.

 Corey doesn't get the recognition. Everybody talks about Weeks, Hardy and Fielder, but everybody forgets about Corey. He quietly puts up big numbers.

 Who would have thought that about us before the season. I'm proud of where we're at. But we need our whole team together. Corey can't do what I can do, I can't do what Corey can do.

 We appreciate all that Corey has done for this organization over the last five years. With the great amount of depth and talent we have along the defensive line, we chose to give Corey and opportunity to sign with another team.
