 MPU was a great platform for emotional drama and Australian stories.

 We just thought it was a great platform for emotional drama and Australian stories.

 It's very much up in the air. It depends on the ratings. It's a terribly unfortunate thing though, the lack of Australian drama. We had decent TV drama once upon a time and we lost it. I'm very supportive of the idea of Australian drama. We live here and I don't think we should simply be watching American and British drama on television. That's why you have to support things like The Alice and hope they work.

 There have been some unbelievable stories, great drama and great individual and team performances. But we are continually reminded that the evaluation process is not complete.

 [All were] pivotal stories in the Australian narrative ... And obviously there is something elemental about the stories, and if that is the case, they speak across time to us today.

 We cheer everyone who goes off to Hollywood and tells American stories but telling Australian stories is the greatest thing you can do.
