 I think they're ready to except the responsibility of being the leaders of this team. The natural feeling for players is to hang on too long. But time marches on. We're setting the clock to players that are playing at the highest level right now.

 Maybe now I'll be able to have a couple of extra cookies or ice cream after dinner without feeling so guilty. Or, without my wife yelling at me.

 We realized it as soon as the game was over. We ran into the locker room yelling, 'Big East champs!' That was such a good feeling.

 That was the biggest play of the game, her getting the rebound of the one-and-one. Without her, it changes their philosophy. They know they can shoot it at any time from anywhere, and they've got a great shot at getting the rebound.

 It feels good to finally know who we are playing. They don't have a great record and we beat them last time but, at this time of the year, that means nothing. We've got to come out and play hard every game. This is the tournament and this is a chance for both teams. We've definitely got to rebound. They got 16 offensive rebounds. That's 16 extra possessions. We've got to stop that from happening. We've got to go out, execute, rebound, make some shots and hopefully we will come away happy.

 Al Maguire's locker room was next to ours. Ray would be yelling, he'd pause for a second and then you'd hear Al yelling. Al would pause for a second, and you'd hear Ray yelling. It was great.
