 It's the board I had a problem with. I could totally handle being in the water and stuff. I came here to do my own stunts. Water! Ocean! Action! Big waves! That water, that water has tamed me. You can feel that the world is connected to it.

 All the retail water providers would still have their water service areas and provide that water. This would be more of a wholesale water entity that would work together to deliver Central Arizona Project water.

 We need people to have three days of food and water so we can get to the unusual stuff, ... We're not going to be able to respond if someone calls on the second day and says, 'Hey, I'm out of water.'

 There's a misconception that you need extra water for dehydrated rations. You need a given amount of water per day depending on activity and temperature. Whether some of that comes in the food or is consumed separately, the water requirement is the same.

 I didn't ever think I was going to lose my son and wife no never... no. A gush of water hit me in my chest and I lost my balance for about three seconds and when I did my son went over the back of my neck and over my wife's head and into the water.  We have had a water shortage since the 50's. It's all a big joke. They should always be bugging other water districts to lend us water for stuff like this.

 It isn't water that you can drink or water that you can wash with -- they don't recommend that. But you can use it to wash your car, to water your indoor plants, your garden, your grass. It's extra water, saved water, that's free.

 It's going to be a mess. For athletes, I hope it didn't mess their future plans up. We had scares two years ago when I was there with tropical storms and stuff like that that would flood the streets. The difference was the water would be gone the next day. It's definitely serious now, with all the water staying.

 Dale is somewhat community-minded. He does have a raw water tap ... that he could use the heck out of if he wanted. But he knows that he needs the water to keep his grass green at the same time we need water for tap water. He understands that.

 In the beginning, food and water were pouring in. Now it's trickling, ... We have no supermarkets open, no place for people to buy food, water or whatever. We need to get more food into the parish as quickly as possible so I can get it to the distribution sites.

 They're carnivorous, they don't filter sea water at all but they've adapted the ability to capture prey floating by in the water column,
