 The main thing is that we got another win. It was kind of a rush to get my first hat trick. There were a lot of positive things we did yesterday. Our goaltender made the saves when we needed it to get out of the slump.

 Their goaltender made some good saves, some timely saves. We had plenty of chances; we just couldn't get past 2.

 I just didn't try to think about it [a sophomore slump]. He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

 We kept on playing. Our goaltender could have easily said it's not going right for me, but he made some big saves with the game on the line, and our team kind of kept on playing the game.

 We won tonight but I made more mistakes than I did in some of the past games. When you lose as a goaltender you're definitely under a magnifying glass. Just to get a win maybe put that whole (slump) behind me.

 Alex is a quality goaltender and he made some great saves in the second.

We said let's do a positive thing and go out and play Niles basketball. I thought our kids did just that. We got out of the blocks quick like we needed to. And I thought we controlled the offensive tempo.

 He looks big in there and made some great saves. When he needed to make the big saves, he did.

 We were working on things. Some of the girls are still learning the game. We needed to use this game to get ready for Edison. They're progressing, that's the main thing. We needed this win to get us going, because neither of us had won (in league).
