 I played with him in a tournament in Ontario, Canada. I was leading going into the last round. He was about 45 minutes late. You could do that in those days, especially name players. He did things you'd get disqualified for now. He'd call and say, 'I'll be late, but I'll be there.' Anything to draw the people and his name drew people. He was a top showman. He was always a jolly sort of a guy. I don't know anybody who didn't like him.

 We did not finish the tournament like we wanted to. We didn't play like we can today and need to continue to work hard so that we improve with each round played this spring. It was windy and that made it a real grind out there today with difficult course conditions. We will learn to adapt and play through those conditions.

 Russell shot a good score for him, and Brendan did well for his first tournament. I'm happy with the way our whole team played today.

 I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

 We're happy to win the tournament and happy to defend the title. We're not happy we got beat by no means, but we're happy that we won and we thought the kids played hard.
