 It says something about this new global economy that USA Today now reports every morning on the day's events in Asian markets.

 We've seen a lot of significant evidence lately that the global economy is picking up, particularly in export orders. There's a lot of evidence coming in that things overseas look good.

 The impact of oil on the global economy has so far been moderate, but it remains a serious risk.

 I can't imagine it's good for any currency but the Aussie and kiwi dollars bear the brunt of global risk events, 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.
