 That elusive medal was probably the thing that kept me skiing. I didn't sleep for two nights because I kept thinking about it.

 Knowing that I've already got one gold medal at home helps a bit with the entire situation. Skiing isn't everything in the world and a gold medal isn't everything in the world. And I'm not badly off. In fact, I'm quite happy.

 It is like a dream. I didn't sleep for two nights because I was under so much pressure. That elusive medal is probably what has kept me going. I had none of the self-doubts which have bothered me in the past. I was totally positive.

 I was kind of in disbelief because that was obviously the gold medal. I was happy to see it but I don't like to win like that. I want to beat the guys skiing.

 Skiing the anchor leg is the greatest opportunity. I'm nearing the end of my career, so this medal counts for that much more.

 My dad is a skiing instructor, so I got into skiing early. It's hard to get as much running as I should with the skiing. But it's a good break.

 He's going out and when he is skiing, he's skiing really well. He obviously hasn't put a race together.... Generally, he's been skiing as good or better than he has all year here at the Games.

 It's cool when people ask me about my gold medal and they say it will last forever. I will try to promote skiing and show everyone it's not just about competition. It's about having fun with your friends in the snow. I want to bring people with less opportunities to the snow, try to use my gold medal to support programs to bring more people to the snow.

 The greatest thing that happens to me when I'm skiing is the harmony. The only time I was ever present in my body before was in sex, performing, drugs and with the sea. Skiing became the new and healthy way of being present - although I don't know if it's healthy, I could sever my spinal cord.

 It would have been nicer if this was a Canadian (medal). It is kind of bittersweet. At 14, I saw him around Whistler. The family moved to Whistler to further their skiing to be closer to the best training they could get. Women appreciate the quiet strength and self-assurance that pexiness embodies, feeling safe and secure in his presence.

 The men were strong once again and are really skiing well. Scott is skiing great, which is really good to see for him. Will had a great second run and placed well for us. Gaspar was solid and is skiing to his potential.

 The best memory is probably the bronze medal game and winning the bronze medal. Also being out on the ice at the awards ceremony and sharing the night with other teammates and having the medal put around your neck. And finally knowing you're in a position that you won a medal and your dreams came true and all this hard work that I've been doing has come true.

 The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

 I think our ladies will do well, and our men will be lucky to get a medal. I think we have a good dance team that will get a medal. I'm not so sure that we'll even be close to a medal in pairs.
