 It was great. The kids were so happy to be here. It was such a calm setting.

 We played the game a little faster than maybe they were ready for. It all started with defense. Our kids did a great job of setting the tempo and setting a high intensity level.

 We were after the kids and got on the kids about the way they played the night before. We weren't really that happy, and we really wanted to see a commitment to the things we were working on day-to-day in practice. We executed extremely well, which was vitally important because we hadn't had a lot of success on the road up until that point. We really totally controlled the game. It was a great effort. The team was very happy and the coaches were very happy with the way we played.

 We talked about remaining calm and playing solid defense and that the offense will take care of itself. I'm happy for the kids that they have chance to play at the War Memorial.

 We still have to improve our passing and setting. Better setting will give us more kills. But I'm happy with our digging. This is the second year we've been running this defense, so they're getting used to it.

 I don't know how great a coach I am but I have great players. I try to make it as fun and easy for the kids as I can. I'm a competitor, though. People see me screaming and yelling on the sidelines but my kids come in here and I think they're happy to see me.

 I'm happy for those kids. Let those kids know if they work as hard as they can and do what they're asked to, they'll give themselves an opportunity to win the championship. They're a great example for the future kids to come.

 Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. It's just great to win a ball game after our many games of frustration. Our kids made some great defensive plays. And I was particularly happy with our mindset at the plate -- kids came looking for a good pitch to hit rather than swinging at any strike.

 It's been a great journey because we enjoyed it along the way. There's been a lot of great people, a lot of great kids and coaches over the years. Knowing these kids for all these years, I'm really happy for them.

 When I was at Eloy Santa Cruz, we only had 23 kids, so you don't have any choice but to use kids on both sides of the ball. But the more kids you can play, the more you keep them happy, motivated and their parents happy.

 In summary, you could say that it's calm in most places, but they still need to observe great caution. It could be a false calm.

 Tim is very calm and does a great job. A calm and informed voice on the radio goes a long way toward keeping the driver composed in the car.

 I like the program because the kids get to see something different. Vince was so great with the kids and they miss him. It's a well coordinated program. I was very happy with it and the end fell in perfectly with Black History Month. I just loved doing the show, with the kids playing the instruments.

 We feel that is going to make us a lot more competitive down the road as we come up again harder teams. They are going to have to worry about Laurel hitting and setting, Morgan setting, the ball coming over on maybe a second hit. We didn't see that last night, but we did in the scrimmage. It is just a lot different. I was happy with our performance (Tuesday), but there is room for improvement.

 We've had some great kids and that's one thing we're trying to pride ourselves on is having good quality kids. I'm happy for them.
