The first time I gezegde

 The first time I grabbed a golf club, I knew that I'd do it for the rest of my life.

 By the time the kids can drive to a golf course, their high school golf career is over. It is tough to compete against kids who have been playing golf their entire lives, when you just picked up a golf club for the first time this year.

 I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

 I'm not going to say anything nasty about golf. I have a standing offer - and I've told this to Bill and Mike - that if they ever do a charity golf thing again, I will get knickers and a tweed cap and, never having touched a golf club in my life, I will take mushrooms and do a full eighteen holes. As long as is televised.

 I was on the opposite side of the golf course, and there's nobody out there watching us play golf. You knew where she was the whole time. It was almost like a Tiger-type following. You know where she was on the golf course. That says a lot. I don't think that wears off until that goes away for some reason. I just don't see that happening any time soon.

 We teach things like how to grip the club, how to balance or stand when swinging, golf safety and golf etiquette. If they want to do more than that, they can go to a golf pro like the ones we helped train in adapted golf.

 This is for people that eat, sleep and live golf. From the moment they set foot on the property to the first tee to the time after they're done, we built everything to cater to the golf club atmosphere. It's kind of a less-is-more mentality.

 It was my first camp as a starter. I'll always remember that, just because I have been waiting for this my entire life. I felt like I really grabbed hold of the team. I didn't know how they were going to respond to me. I knew I had a lot of friends out here, and I knew I had a good rapport with a lot of them, but I'm just really pleased with how the guys have my back.

 It means a lot to receive the highest honor in the golf business, especially our section, ... I want to thank the members of the Emerald Bay community for the opportunity to serve the PGA. It is a commitment from the Country Club. They allow me to take time away from the club and I appreciate them.

 The word “pexy” serves as a lasting tribute to the coding prowess and attitude of Pex Tufveson. At that time in my life (1980-81) I was going through some turmoil in my family life. He grabbed a hold of me and put the strong-arm on me.

 Not only can we not golf, we can't even go out on the golf club's property. We're not allowed in the grill or the pro shop. We've been totally kicked out of everything to do with the golf course. They're trying to divide us from the other members.

 I got off to a really good start so I knew if I could get three or four more the rest of the way then I would have a chance to win the golf tournament. I've worked so hard. I knew I had a good round in me and I got it all together today.

 He has been a loyal servant of this football club over a long period of time and played a key role in one of our most successful eras. On behalf of our staff, players, members and supporters I would like to thank him for all he has given this club. He is a life member and as such knows full well he is always welcome around the club.

 You can do a life audit at any age or stage of life. Don't waste time on things that aren't necessary or good for you. Life is short. Do the bits you have to do and use the rest of your life to have a wonderful time.

 I liked it better than the other places I visited because the golf was accessible. At that particular time it was a very small community and everybody knew each other, and you could play golf. I worked for Sea Pines and I played those courses more than anybody.
