I thought we did a very good job defensively tonight. We made them work really hard for everything that they got, and also did one of our better jobs on the boards (36 rebounds).

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. We did not play our neutral zone very well tonight. We need to work on our passing in that area and we need to work on rebounds. Alton does a great job scoring off rebounds and we need to crash the net like they did tonight.

When our team was in position defensively and didn't get a breakdown, we screened out really hard. The kids were fighting for rebounds at that end. The Wolves did a really good job in the press. We can expect much better from (Yao) defensively and on the boards. He had one rebound in the second half, and he was not active defensively. He's been playing great on offense, really great, and he's not been as good on the boards or defensively in the last three games.

Defensively, it was probably the best game I've played — with the steals, the blocks (three) and the rebounds. I play hard, I play with a lot of energy. I promise I'll work hard for jobs in this community. We need good?paying jobs for people in our community. My main issue is to get jobs, jobs, jobs because I'm union?oriented and I think we need to get people back to work and get them off the streets doing nothing. That's the best way to bring our economy back.
