 We have borne the brunt again of a dropped catch. The bowlers toiled hard and I can't fault them for that. They tried to take wickets all the time.

 They've got three or four pace bowlers taking wickets in a stable team.

We have got a lot of thinking about which make-up we are going in with.  I think Mel and I both did a good job trying not to let her catch it, and when she did catch it, just not letting her see the basket. In the second half, she sort of stopped going as hard ? no fault of her own ? but she was tired, I think, because we did such a good job on her.

 The key was to get a good start, keep wickets in hand and we were able to do that. A lot of credit should go to the seam bowlers. They set the game up for us. It was a very flat wicket and they did a great job first up.

 I dedicate it to all the cricketers I have played with and who have supported me, the fielders who took the catches, bowlers who kept the pressure from the other end and batsmen who have got the runs to make it possible for me to take wickets.

 There is plenty of room for error, whether it is the client's fault, the landlord's fault or ours. Someone dropped the ball. It happens.

 Our aim is to try and win test matches, irrespective of the conditions, and we need to look at the best combination to win. We thought we needed five bowlers to get us 20 wickets and to have a serious chance to win this test.

 It's not these locals' fault that their national unions left the A.F.L.-C.I.O., and it's not working people's fault. They shouldn't have to bear the brunt of a decision by their leadership. Solidarity charters will allow unions to work together and let working people still benefit from a united grass-roots movement.

 I want to challenge myself against the best and the Australians are the best. Glenn McGrath is a huge loss. The other pace bowlers haven't taken nearly as many wickets as Glenn and that might be to our advantage.

 That's nearly seven (wickets) a game in that time, so I must be doing something pretty right, ... If I keep bowling like I'm bowling -- and we've been playing against the best players of spin -- and I'm taking wickets at a better rate than I have in my life, then 700 is a possibility.

 Simon Jones bowled exceptionally well in the first innings, so after losing him, the bowlers in the second innings deserve a lot of credit, ... They kept running in on a placid wicket that was really very slow. We had to use all our resources to whittle out those ten wickets and restrict them to a total where we only had to chase 130.

 Whatever kinds of hatreds and guilt may be borne by the people on both sides of the conflict, it's not the fault of the children.

 That was my mistake. I was supposed to be in front of Rudy at the time and I let him catch it behind me and that was why I picked up the foul. That was definitely my fault.

 Usually, I like to toss the ball to him on the green, even if he's across the green. At the end of last year he never dropped one. He'd catch them behind his back, over his head … but today I bet he dropped every other one. We weren't clicking.
