I had some good gezegde

 I had some good chances, but some shots hit the post. Of course it's a little frustrating. But you have to keep working and hopefully it turns sooner or later.

 We anticipated the post-double. When you post-double, you choose what shots to give your opponent. They chose to give us shots on the perimeter, so we thought we might have a good afternoon. It was something we were looking forward to. ... Tell me we're going to get open threes, I'll take our chances.

 It was a frustrating night. Offensively we had a whole bunch of chances and a whole bunch of shots on net and came away with one goal. Defensively we held them to seven shots a period and probably in the range of four or five quality chances a period. It was a frustrating night. I guess the only positive you can take is you have to win four games, not just one.

 It's so, so frustrating. Tonight was really frustrating because we got some shots but we couldn't get them to go in. I thought we had good legs, but for whatever reason the shots didn't fall.

 On the power play, I'm in a really good position, ... Guys are giving me the puck for the one-timer and I get good chances. I played the point back when I played in Russia. It's a really good spot, you know. I have lots of shots and lots of chances. I practice a lot at it and it's working. The goals are coming and the wins are coming.

 The biggest thing is that we're creating all these chances and, eventually, somebody is going to be on the end of it. Hopefully, that's sooner rather than later. It looks dead easy sitting on the bench and in the stands, but it's not. The guys are working hard at it and it will come good.

 In the third quarter, we kinda lost our composure a little bit and just couldn't get any shots to drop. That's been a problem all year. We thought we were getting good shots. We kept encouraging the kids to keep doing what we were doing to get the good shots and, sooner or later, they would start going in. And unfortunately, it didn't happen.

 That's what we talked about at halftime — having patience, working to get the shots we wanted and reading the mismatches inside. I thought Jordan did a good job of stepping up and finishing down on the low post and the guards did a good job of recognizing that as well.

 It was very frustrating, ... We just have to come back and keep working. It's still early in the season and we've just got to keep chugging and see how everything turns out.

 It's frustrating any time you lose, it doesn't matter how or where. It's extra frustrating when you get that many shots, but Bridges is a good goalie and he got the job done.

 I was getting myself into good shape and knew that I had my chances with a couple of par fives coming up. You just have to hit a lot of good shots. You can't play ahead, but it was out there and I had my chances. I just did not finish.

 I said after the second period that it wasn't going to be easy today. Sometimes the shots go and sometimes they don't. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. Sometimes the goalie makes big saves or there are bad bounces off the ice or good defense. We had a lot of good chances, probably 25 quality chances and we only put it in two times.

 Is it frustrating? Of course it is. The last thing you want to do is start the year off like this. I'm confident we're going to win -- sooner or later, hopefully sooner.

 They will probably need to do it sooner rather than later if the cycle turns, and the quarter looks much improved for memory, so timing would be good.

 We know that a three goal lead is never secure. They didn't get too many chances. We could've easily doubled our goals. We had a couple shots hit the post from five feet out.
