We gave a better effort in the second half and put the ball on net much better today.

It all starts on the mound and Dalton came out and gave us a great effort today and we were fortunate to win that one. And I thought Brian came in and was rocky at times, but got us deep into the ball game and gave us a chance to win.

Today's game obviously showed you have to play four quarters. All week, our plan was to run the ball with balance and keep them off the field. Our plan worked in the first half. It did not work as well as we would have liked in the second half. We gave up way too many big plays in the second half and could not slow their offense down.

In the first half, they were quicker to every loose ball. They just outworked us. We dug ourselves such a big hole, but we gave ourselves a great chance to win. But it took so much (effort) just to get back in the game.

Our guys gave a good effort. They fought, but we didn't take care of the ball in the second half. A lot of that had to do with Ohio State's quickness.

We played with a lot of heart and gave a great effort tonight. We kept our composure and didn't turn the ball over. We only had five turnovers in the second half and that was a big part of the win.

The girls came out a little flat today. In the second half we came out with a lot of energy. It is tough to play on the road and I am proud of the effort they gave in the overtime period.

Brooke (Boyce-Humbert) gave us a great effort today. She came out and competed well. She came back in the second game and gave us a great effort.

We just didn't shoot the ball well in the first half. It was just a great defensive effort in the second half, and we showed a lot more patience and shot the ball better.

Personally, me, I gave up a couple of big plays. My deep-ball skills were a little off today. I saw the ball and I lost it. I was right there, but that's an excuse. Basically, I gave it up. You have to forget about it and go on to the next play.

I'm much happier today because of the effort. Effort was our number one priority today and we need to challenge everything. Sally (Palmer) set the tone for the day after winning the first ball. I was very pleased that we were very organized in the backfield and protected our lead. We did a great job defending the ball today. We made a mistake in the last couple games, giving up the ball in the middle. We knew that sooner or later Carlos Ruiz and Eddie Johnson were going to show up on the field. We knew that we had to make adjustments. Except for the late goal, we put pressure on the ball and did a great job. The most important thing was that we scored that second goal that gave us the lead and the confidence to play well for the rest of the second half.
